Gastronomic Benidorm 2023 #BenidormFreshandTasty, Rice Week, this is the 12th year for this event, which is held to celebrate the fantastic local food of Benidorm, the commitment of our local restaurateurs for both quality and local products and for their innovation in gastronomic creations.
The XII Paella Days comes to Benidorm to highlight the local gastronomy, enhancing the typical dishes of our city that have traditionally been cooked with the main ingredient being "rice" and combined with "fish and seafood" from the bay and/or "meat and sausages" from the mountains near Benidorm.

"Rice is part of our culture, we are rice farmers by tradition and we include it in our diet several times a week. It is a very versatile ingredient that goes with everything," said Pellicer, who also highlighted the "great variety" of recipes. "Every region, town or even every house has a rice dish with its secrets and everyone has been able to bring out the best version of themselves."
