Tracy Ann commented on this post about 1 month agoA good chance this weekend to spot "shooting stars" or more correctly meteorites! Known in Spain as the "Tears of San Lorenzo" this is a major event, with the possibility of up to 200 an hour crossing the skies at peak periods. The main window for spotting these is between the 11th to 13th, with the odd one possible right up to the 17th of August. They will enter the earths atmosphere at 40 degrees above the horizon in the north east.Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream.
