BOOKED TO TRAVEL BETWEEN 17 APRIL AND 30 JUNE 2020

TUI'S TRAVEL PROMISE – BOOKINGS MADE ON OR BEFORE 16 MARCH 2020

We know you must be apprehensive about your upcoming holiday, and we fully appreciate the need to give you the freedom to be flexible with your booking. So, from 17 March 2020, we’re offering our travel promise to you.

If you have an existing booking for a TUI, Marella Cruises, or First Choice package holiday, booked before 17 March 2020 and travelling on or before 30 June 2020, you can amend for free to any holiday that’s currently on sale.

If you choose a holiday that’s cheaper than the one you originally booked, we’ll refund you the difference. If you choose a holiday that’s more expensive than your original booking, you’ll need to pay the difference in price.

You can make a change free of charge up until seven days before your original departure date. This policy is in place until 31 May 2020. So, if your holiday departs between 8 June 2020 and 30 June 2020, you must make any amends on or before 31 May 2020.

If you booked your holiday on our website, on the TUI App, or on the First Choice App, and your flights were scheduled to be with TUI Airways, you can easily amend your booking on the Manage my Booking page. The only exception to this is if you added insurance, parking or an airport hotel to your booking – unfortunately you won’t be able to amend online.

If you booked in a TUI Store, or you added insurance, parking, or an airport hotel to your booking, we’d ask that you bear with us for now. Following government advice, we’ve closed all our TUI Stores and our call centre teams are working from home. So, it might be a bit harder to get hold of us than usual. We’re working as quickly as possible to contact everyone affected, prioritising customers due to travel before 16 April 2020. So – for now – we’re asking you to hold off on calling us. We really appreciate your patience.

If you need to, call 0800 009 3836 or 0203 636 1997. You can call between: 9am - 7pm (Monday to Friday), 9am – 6pm (Saturday) and 10am-5pm (Sunday).

Improved aircraft cleanliness

Cleaning our planes is of utmost importance. We have reviewed our aircraft cleaning program and have made changes to it. We have increased the number of cleaning teams and audit inspections. We use disinfectant cleaning fluids on each and every aircraft after each flight to thoroughly clean all hard surfaces in cabins and bathrooms.

All of our aircraft are equipped with HEPA filters that remove particulates and bacterial contamination, and provide clean air to passengers. These filters provide the same level of air filtration as those in hospital operating rooms.

Travel restrictions

Several countries have imposed restrictions on travel; Check the latest travel tips before you fly.

If you are traveling within the next 72 hours please contact us on 0800 727 800 if you are calling from the UK or on +44 (0) 203 250 0145 if you are calling from abroad so that we can assist you in case that you urgently need a new reservation.

If you do not have to travel within the next 72 hours, you can change or cancel your reservation here .

We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and have recruited more teams to assist in this task, so please be patient with us. Thank you very much for your understanding and patience.
